Cardinals QB Kyler Murray joins esports organization FaZe Clan

The esports organization FaZe Clan added a new member on Monday.

According to TMZ Sports, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is joining FaZe Clan as "FaZe K1." Murray says he has played video games since he was five years old and that he loves Madden and Call of Duty.

"I've played video games my whole life," Murray said. "To be drafted by FaZe and welcomed into the family is a blessing and an honor, and honestly one of the most exciting moments of my life and career so far."

When Murray isn't on the field in Arizona, he's often found streaming on his Twitch channel, which has 63,000 followers. On top of becoming a member, the signal-caller is also looking to become an investor for FaZe Clan.

The 23-year-old joins a growing list of athletes who have joined FaZe Clan in recent months, including Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons and LeBron James' son, Bronny.

Other athletes who stream on Twitch include JuJu Smith-Schuster, Trevor May, Demetrious Johnson, Gordon Hayward, Blake Snell and Karl-Anthony Towns.
