Cards put Will Hernandez on IR; Kyler Murray day-to-day
Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is day-to-day with a hamstring injury while one of his blockers is headed to injured reserve.

The Cardinals placed starting right guard Will Hernandez on IR Wednesday with a pec injury. He'll have to miss at least four games.

The Cardinals held a walkthrough Wednesday, but Murray was listed as a did not participate on the estimated injury report. His injury is not considered serious but bears watching.

Murray is completing 66.7 percent of his passes for 2,168 yards, with 12 touchdowns and six interceptions this season. He's also rushed for 359 yards and two TDs.

Hernandez has started all nine games this season, playing every snap in six of those. He was injured in last week's loss to Seattle. He's the fourth Cardinals' offensive lineman to be put on IR this season.

Cody Ford is next in line at right guard.

The Cardinals also claimed guard Wyatt Davis off waivers from the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday. He takes Hernandez's spot on the active roster.

The Cardinals (3-6) visit the Los Angeles Rams (3-5) this Sunday.
