Chiefs once again look like team to beat in NFL

The 9-2 Kansas City Chiefs continue to look like the NFL's best team. 

Sunday's 26-10 thumping of the Los Angeles Rams once again proved that, once the dust settles, it might be Patrick Mahomes and company hoisting the Lombardi in February. 

Mahomes is having an MVP-caliber season. He is second in the NFL in his overall quarterback rating (77.4) and has thrown for 3,585 yards and 29 touchdowns through 11 games. 

His supporting cast is as good as it's ever been, even without wideout Tyreek Hill. 

Wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster (653 yards, two touchdowns) has stepped up in the passing game. Tight end Travis Kelce (912 yards, 12 touchdowns) looks like the best tight end in the NFL. 

Rookie running back Isaiah Pacheco has proven to be a seventh-round steal for the team, rushing for 455 yards and two touchdowns. 

Recent trade acquisition Kadarius Toney also seemed more at home in two games with Kansas City than he ever did with the New York Giants. 

The team's offensive line is stout, led by tackle Orlando Brown Jr., center Creed Humphrey, and guards Joe Thuney and Trey Smith. 

The team's defense is also anchored by All-Pro defensive tackle Chris Jones and boasts pass rushers like Frank Clark, George Karlaftis, and Carlos Dunlap. It'll be tough for any team to get past that defensive front in the playoffs when the pass rush becomes paramount. 

With all-time offensive mastermind Andy Reid on the sideline and Mahomes playing like an MVP, it just looks like the Chiefs are too good to be stopped. Having won five straight games, you wonder if they run the table to the Super Bowl.
