Tua Tagovailoa is expected to return as the Miami Dolphins starting quarterback on Sunday in the team's Week 7 "Sunday Night Football" matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The southpaw has missed the last two games after suffering a concussion during the team's Week 4 "Thursday Night Football" loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Tagovailoa addressed the media on Wednesday, going into detail about his frightening night in Cincinnati and what his recovery process has been like.
Tagovailoa said he remembers the entire night of the Bengals game until he got tackles. After that, "I don't remember much," including getting carted off. He does remember being in the ambulance and being in the hospital.

The Alabama product returned to the practice field for the first time last Wednesday but was ultimately ruled out.
The NFL and NFLPA made modifications to the league's concussion protocols following Tagovailoa's pair of highly publicized on-field incidents in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills and in Week 4 against the Bengals. While there was rampant criticism and speculation following the quarterback's Week 3 stumble off the field against Buffalo and the ultimate clearance to play in Week 4, the NFL and NFLPA's investigation over how the team's medical staff and the Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant handled the situation concluded that protocols were followed correctly.
