Grant has had a role in Miami's offense since being selected in the sixth round of the 2016 draft, but his most significant impact has come on special teams.
The 28-year-old has returned three punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns in his six-year career. He has also caught 91 passes for 1,001 yards and five touchdowns.
This season, Grant has two catches for -7 yards on two targets. He also has eight punt returns for 59 yards and two kick returns for 46 yards.
The Bears have used rookie Khalil Herbert as a kickoff returner and third-year wide receiver Nsimba Webster as a punt returner through the first four weeks. Once Grant is officially added to the roster in Chicago, he'll likely take over punt and kick return duties.
