Former Minnesota Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen has reportedly found himself in trouble with law enforcement. Per a report from CBS News Minnesota, the former Pro Bowler was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Police arrested Griffen and booked him into Carver County Jail at 12:41 p.m. on Saturday. He was released an hour later and has not been formally charged, per the report.
Griffen, who still resides in the Minneapolis area, played for the Vikings from 2010-19 and in 2021. He spent the 2020 season with the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys.
The former NFL star was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and was a second-team All-Pro pick in 2017. Griffen was a fourth-round selection in the 2010 NFL Draft out of USC.
