Is Ravens Ex Odell Beckham Jr. Signing with Miami Dolphins?
Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes were an intriguing watch last season, with the Baltimore Ravens securing his signature. Now, after Odell has stated he won't be returning to Baltimore, those sweepstakes are again live.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Odell reportedly have mutual interest as the Super Bowl champions need another receiver despite the free agency addition of Hollywood Brown.

But now, CBS' Josina Anderson is reporting that Beckham Jr. has a visit planned with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, as Mike McDaniel might want to pair Odell with Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill.

The Dolphins were the second-best offense in football last season (29.2p/g), and with Hill (1,799 yards) and Jaylen Waddle (1,014 yards) both being key components of the offense, adding a player of Odell's caliber could be the missing piece of their Super Bowl puzzle.

Beckham Jr. had a decent enough season with the Ravens last year as his comeback from yet another ACL injury took another step. He finished with 565 yards (second-most on the roster) and three touchdowns on 35 receptions, showing flashes of the "old Odell" in Todd Monken's offense.

Now, if Odell does sign with the Dolphins, Tagovailoa will have yet another weapon to torment defenses with. Hill and Waddle were already tough enough to stop, but if we then add Odell Beckham Jr. to the mix, things get rather interesting for defenses trying to curtail the trio.

Of course, Beckham Jr. is just visiting at this stage, but if things go well, the Pro Bowler linking up with Miami could be just the move that gives the Dolphins an edge in the AFC East race.
