Josh Allen not panicked after Bills suffer back-to-back losses

It appears quarterback Josh Allen isn't close to panicking over the fact his Buffalo Bills have lost back-to-back games.

"Let’s go about our business," Allen explained about his mindset on the latest edition of the "Kyle Brandt's Basement" podcast and program, as shared by Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk. "We don’t have to make this a bigger deal than what it is. We want to win every single game. When we step out on the field, I think it’s our goal, I think it’s everybody’s goal, to win that game. Find a way to do it. Obviously, we haven’t done that in the last couple of weeks. . . . It’s not like we’re not a bad team. We’ve been hurting ourselves a lot. If we can make smarter decisions, if we can play situational football and complementary football, that’s all we gotta do."

Allen came off the 20-17 loss at the New York Jets on Nov. 6 dealing with a worrisome elbow issue that could linger through at least January. In this past Sunday's overtime thriller that the Bills dropped 33-30 to the Minnesota Vikings, Allen tossed two costly interceptions in the opposing end zone and fumbled the ball away in Buffalo's painted portion of the field for what could go down as a season-defining turnover:

In a different piece, Alper noted on Wednesday that Allen will begin midweek sessions as a limited participant in practice, as he and the 6-3 Bills prepare to host the 3-6 Cleveland Browns this Sunday for a contest that could be impacted by a significant snowstorm. Allen missed two days of practice last week before he ultimately played against Minnesota.

ESPN stats show that Allen, who seemed to be a lock to earn Most Valuable Player honors less than a full week ago, has thrown a league-high 10 interceptions on the campaign. He's seventh among eligible quarterbacks with a 96.6 passer rating, third with a 74.3 total QBR and 2,733 passing yards, and second with 20 touchdowns through the air.
