Kenny Stills gets Black Lives Matter tattoo honoring civil rights protesters

Kenny Stills has never been shy about sharing his beliefs regarding social justice issues. The Houston Texans wide receiver now will let his new tattoo speak for himself.

The 28-year-old got a massive Black Lives Matter tattoo to honor civil rights protesters of the past and present. He showed off the tattoo on Instagram and let it do the talking — he didn't include a caption:

The lower portion of the tattoo features protest signs that read "say their names" and "stop killing us" in reference to the cries against police brutality that's led to many deaths of Black people across the United States.

The middle portion shows protesters fighting school segregation in St. Louis, a tribute to the civil protests in Missouri coordinated by the NAACP in the 1940s and '50s.

Finally, the top portion shows a silhouette holding a Black Lives Matter sign, honoring the movement for racial equality.

Stills has been vocal in the fight against racial injustice. He has been critical of Dolphins owner Stephen Ross in the past and hasn't changed his opinion since joining the Texans from Miami.

In response to Ross' $13 million donation to the Ross Initiative in Sports Equality, Stills called out the Dolphins owner for giving money to his own charity, which reduces his tax burden and isn't necessarily a big sacrifice. Stills also has criticized Ross for supporting Donald Trump's re-election campaign while claiming he supports the Black Lives Matter movement at the same time — something that doesn't necessarily add up.

He's also taken a knee during the national anthem during his tenure with both the Dolphins and Texans.
