Marlon Mack out for season with torn Achillies

For the second time in his career, veteran RB Marlon Mack has suffered a torn Achilles and will be out for the season.

This injury comes less than a week after Mack signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals. The deal was worth $1.1 million.

Regarding how it happened, Marlon injured himself while trying to catch a pass behind him, leading to an awkward landing.

Unfortunately, leg injuries are nothing new for Mack, as he missed plenty of time last season. Mack was even sent to the IR in January due to a hamstring problem.

Nevertheless, this is a brutal blow for the Cardinals, as they are still in search of a clear #2 man behind James Conner.
