The Minnesota Vikings signed a former Cincinnati Bengals sixth-round draft pick and offensive tackle to their 53-man roster Thursday. The Vikings lost offensive tackle Olisaemeka Udoh for the season due to a quadriceps injury.
They’ve been plagued with depth issues in the early season due to injuries. They needed to add another offensive lineman to the roster for Week 5.
According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Vikings signed Hakeem Adeniji to the 53-man roster Thursday. They also added former Minnesota Golden Gopher quarterback Tanner Morgan to the practice squad.

Adeniji was signed to the Vikings practice squad following training camp. The 2020 sixth-round pick started for the Bengals in the postseason last year after La’el Collins was hurt. Adeniji has played in all seven Bengals playoff games during the previous two postseasons, including the Bengals’ loss in Super Bowl 56 to the Los Angeles Rams.
Adeniji should be a solid backup option for the Vikings.
