New York Giants Work Out Kickers with Graham Gano Ailing

Bullock began his career with the Texans in 2012, staying with them through part of 2015 before finishing that season with the Jets. The following year, he was signed to kick for the Giants after they released Josh Brown. New York later went with Robbie Gould, who was also part of today's kicker tryout, for the rest of that 2016 season.

Bullock has been in the league for 13 seasons, having appeared in 138 games played. He's made 211 out of 253 field goal attempts (83.4 percent) and 285 out of 298 PATs.

Bullock was one of four kickers the Giants worked out on Thursday, the list also including Gould; Matthew Wright, a journeyman who's been with the Steelers, Lions, Chiefs, Panthers, and 49ers since 2020; and former long-time Packers kicker Mason Crosby, who was with Green Bay from 2007 to last season.

Bullock, once signed, will serve as insurance for the Giants for kicker Graham Gano, whose left knee is ailing. Gano will eventually need surgery to repair his knee, the exact nature of which is undisclosed, but with nine games remaining this year, it could be a matter of time before the Giants shut him down so he can get his surgery and begin rehab.
