Pro Bowl QB Kyler Murray joins Cardinals OTAs

It's been an offseason full of headlines for Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowl quarterback Kyler Murray. After a solid third NFL season where his team ultimately fell a few steps short of their Super Bowl aspirations, Murray is entering a critical stretch when it comes to his future in Arizona.

The Cards picked up the signal-caller's fifth-year option in April, shortly after general manager Steve Keim said that there was "zero chance" that the 24-year-old would be traded. Still, there have been rampant rumors surrounding Murray and his commitment to the franchise that selected him first overall in 2019, especially after last week's report that he'd be skipping Arizona's voluntary organized team activities (OTAs).

While the two-time Pro Bowler still is awaiting a potential contract extension, it seems as though he's had a change of heart regarding attending OTAs.

In February, Murray curiously erased his social media accounts of any mention of the Cardinals and also unfollowed the team, but in March, both the quarterback and head coach Kliff Kingsbury indicated that things were smooth between the two parties.

The 2019 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year has recorded a 66.9% completion percentage with 11,480 passing yards, 70 touchdowns and 34 interceptions while adding 314 carries for 1,786 yards and 20 rushing touchdowns over his 46-game regular season career.
