Ravens' Justin Tucker reveals how long he hopes to play

There's no argument against Raven's Justin Tucker being the best kicker in the NFL. But how much football does Tucker have left in him?

"I just want to go until it's embarrassing for me to be out there. I want to kick until the wheels absolutely fall off," Tucker said on "The Lounge" podcast. "If I have to go out there and Jordan [Stout] has to help me out onto the field, or I have to take a walker out there, I'm going to do it. I'm going to go to the bitter, bitter end."

Tucker is set to turn 34 during the 2023 season, but there have been many kickers who have played into their 40s.

Adam Vinatieri retired at 48 following 24 seasons and Hall of Fame kicker/quarterback George Blanda holds the record for being the oldest player to ever suit up in an NFL game at 48 years and 109 days old.

If anyone can make it that long and maybe even break the record, it's certainly Tucker, who has been a perfectionist his entire career.

The six-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl XLVII champion holds the NFL record for career field goal percentage (90.52 percent), longest field goal (66 yards) and most 50+ yard field goals in a game (3).

Now entering his 12th season in the league, Tucker has shown no signs of slowing down and Baltimore must be happier than ever that they have him. Especially after multiple teams made trades for kickers at the 53-man roster cutdown deadline on Tuesday.

Whenever Tucker decides to hang up his cleats, it feels as though he's destined for the Hall of Fame, but he doesn't even want to start thinking about that.

"Ask me again in like 15 years and maybe my tune will change," Tucker added. "But that is just not even a thought in my mind right now, truly."
