Saints add their own Kyle Juszczyk for Kubiak offense

The New Orleans Saints offense will look much different next season. Klint Kubiak will call plays, and you can expect factors from the San Francisco 49ers offense to be engrained in his scheme.

The 49ers possess a top fullback in Kyle Juszczyk. The Saints have not had a productive fullback in quite some time. Taysom Hill's utility has been the closest resemblance to one in recent years, but he plays many roles for the team.

Now, they are trying to change that - it seems. The Saints are adding a fullback that Kubiak and his staff may have hand-picked for his offense in The Big Easy.

The Saints are signing fullback Zander Horvath, according to multiple reports.

Horvath was a first-team Pro Football Journal All-Rookie selection at the fullback/H-back position in 2022-2023. He's proven that he can be a capable receiver out of the backfield and legitimate red zone option on offense.

He's caught two touchdowns in limited playing time during his NFL tenure. Horvath spent time with the Los Angeles Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers last season.

The young FB is 6'3 and 230 pounds. Juszczyk is nearly the same size at 6'2 and 235 pounds for the 49ers. It will be intriguing to see if the new Saints OC can get noteworthy production from the team's new fullback.

It won't be easy as Juszczyk is an eight-time Pro Bowler at fullback, but Horvath will certainly get a better opportunity in this type of offense compared to others around the NFL.
