McCoy replaces Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow. It's the first Pro Bowl nomination for McCoy, who has been a top center in the NFC for a few years now. It is a well-deserved honor for the Saints veteran.
Additionally, McCoy is under contract through 2027 in New Orleans. He won't be going anywhere soon. McCoy is definitely a key piece to the Saints offense going forward.
The Saints offensive line saw some inconsistencies last season, but McCoy may have been the most consistent player on the OL. He was both available and effective.
Not to mention, McCoy was named a captain for the first time in his NFL career this past season.
The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will be a multi-day AFC versus NFC competition... culminating in a flag football game Sunday, Feb. 4 at Camping World Stadium. The contest will be televised from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. CT on ESPN, ABC, Disney XD, ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes. -- New Orleans Saints
