As was appropriately stated by one Yardbarker editor: Twitter is the new LinkedIn.
Such is the case for Shiloh Keo, who was recently signed by the Denver Broncos — but not before he asked Denver defensive coordinator Wade Phillips for a job via Twitter.
Granted the 27-year-old already has experience playing for Phillips, logging two interceptions and 11 starts in 42 games with the Houston Texans back in 2013. But the free agent safety went the extra mile to snag himself a roster spot by sending a chirp Phillips' way asking why another safety was picked up over him.
@sonofbum didn't want to pick me up huh?

The tweet led to a friendly exchange between the two, ending with a tweet in which Keo asked Phillips to "keep me in mind" just in case "things don't pan out" with Denver's depleted safety corps.
It was, apparently, the right "interview tactic" for getting Keo a roster spot.
Keo hopefully brings the depth the Broncos need, as injuries have left them without T.J.Ward, Omar Bolden and David Bruton Jr.
