Sports world reacts to USC reportedly bringing Reggie Bush back

It started, like so many of these things do, with an Adam Schefter tweet: Reggie Bush is coming back into the fold as an honored member of the USC football family.

On Tuesday night, Schefter shared that USC has decided to end its disassociation of Bush.

Bush, a former Heisman Trophy winner, is reportedly “in the process of finalizing an agreement that would allow him to be reinstated with the school, a source told Schefter.

This news comes 10 years after Bush was determined to have taken money during his time at USC. Bush hadn’t been allowed on campus, and all his accomplishments as a football player were disassociated from the program.

“It was a horrible feeling, one of the worst feelings in the world,” Bush said recently, speaking The Athletic about the sanctions USC faced. “It felt like I died when I had to hear that there weren’t gonna be scholarships for kids because of me or because of something connected to me.

“I’m still not over that. It’s just something you learn to live with.”

Now that feeling is about to be over.

As news circulated around social media that Bush would be allowed to return to USC, the reactions poured in.
