Super Bowl King of Props: Juice can’t be put in a box

As the premier betting event in all of sports, the Super Bowl has been attracting gamblers to Las Vegas for more than a half-century. But this 58th edition holds special significance because the city is hosting the game for the first time.

Home to the “Black Hole” when the Raiders are playing, Allegiant Stadium will be awash in the other color on the roulette wheel for this championship rematch between Kansas City and San Francisco. The 2020 meeting featured the Chiefs overcoming a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to earn a 31-20 victory. Having now claimed a fourth AFC crown in the last five years, they’re looking to take down the 49ers again — but this time as slight underdogs.

Bet No. 4: Over 4½ rushing and receiving yards for 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk (Bet365)

A fourth-round pick out of Harvard, Juszczyk spent his first four years with the Ravens. He was among the initial free-agent signings of San Francisco general manager John Lynch, and he has now made the Pro Bowl in all seven seasons under coach Kyle Shanahan.

Although his positional designation is fullback, Juszczyk lines up in different spots and often gets deployed as a second tight end. He drew three targets against the Lions in the NFC Championship and caught two of them for 33 yards. The man nicknamed “Juice” delivered similar production in that Super Bowl four years ago, totaling 39 yards on three receptions.

Making this bet even more appealing, of course, is the inclusion of rushing yards. Juszczyk sees occasional carries like the one he got in the conference title tilt, which he turned into a three-yard gain. Over the San Francisco portion of his career, he has cleared this number on rushing yardage alone 19 times.

Back on the game’s biggest stage, it seems only a matter of time until Juice gets loose.
