The Bills are exceeding sky-high expectations

In a preseason poll of 25 NFL.com analysts, 12 picked the Bills to win Super Bowl LVII — more than double any other team. Two weeks into the season, Buffalo has done nothing but validate those lofty expectations.

After blowing out the Rams by three touchdowns on the road in the season opener, the Bills stomped the Titans 41-7 on Monday night. The game was so lopsided that Case Keenum played in place of Josh Allen the entire fourth quarter.

Six teams are 2-0 after two weeks, but on one has been as dominant as Buffalo. The Bills' point differential of +55 is more than double any other team, with the Chiefs and Buccaneers next at +26.

While the Titans lost pieces over the past year, Tennessee prevailed against Buffalo in a prime-time matchup last season. If Monday night's blowout is any indication, the Bills have taken a major step forward from 2021 to 2022.

It takes a total team effort to engineer such a flawless start, but the connection between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs has been the driving force. Despite sitting out the fourth quarter of Monday's win, Diggs is second among all receivers with 270 yards through two weeks. No receiver, running back or tight end has found the end zone more than Diggs, who has four touchdowns on the season.

Diggs and the Bills will meet another dynamic offense in Week 3 as they travel to Miami to face the undefeated Dolphins.
