Still trying to figure out what to do at right tackle to start the season, the Tennessee Titans added another piece to the puzzle over the weekend, brining in veteran offensive lineman Justin Murray.

Murray, who played his college ball at Cincinnati, is 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds. He's been in the NFL since 2016, first playing with the Denver Broncos after signing as an undrafted free agent. He's also played in Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Arizona and Buffalo. He was most recently with the Las Vegas Raiders. He spent the offseason working out with them, but was released Aug. 1.

Murray's most prolific run was with the Cardinals from 2019 to 2021, where he made 20 starts and played in 30 games.

Two weeks into training camp, the Titans still have some serious concerns along the offensive line, especially at right tackle. Second-year man Nicholas Petit-Frere started 16 games at right tackle in 2022, but will miss the first six games this season after being suspended for violating the NFL's gambling policy.

Veteran Jamarco Jones seemed to be the next man up after the suspension, but he got into scuffles in practice two days in a row, which angered coach Mike Vrabel, and he was released on Thursday ''because that's now how we practice,'' Vrabel said.

To make matters worse, offensive lineman John Ojukwu left practice early on Friday with an injury. The seriousness of the injury is unknown, and we'll see if he's back at practice on Monday morning.

The Titans signed veteran Chris Hubbard earlier in the week, and Jaelyn Duncan, Zack Johnson and Andrew Rupcich have all been getting reps at right tackle as well.

The Titans will practice all week at home before flying out to Chicago on Friday. They open their preseason schedule on Saturday with a Noon ET game against the Bears at Soldier Field.
