Tom Brady reacts to Bucs teammate Antoine Winfield Jr.’s Super Bowl tattoo

Winfield Jr.’s new tattoo unsurprisingly was warmly received by Bucs Nation and elsewhere. One reaction on social media, however, has generated the most buzz.

None other than Brady himself posted a comment on B/R Gridiron’s Instagram post detailing Winfield Jr.’s new ink. In trademark TB12 fashion, Brady delivered the following message: “Make sure you leave some room @antoinewinfieldjr.”

Brady of course has become known as a social media master over the years, and this is not the first time he has taken to the comments section of a social media dispatch to share a witty reaction.

Interestingly enough, one of Brady’s more recent social media missives was surprisingly met with some backlash, although the crux of the criticism arguably missed the mark.

All that being said, all signs point to Brady returning to the Buccaneers and being under center for the defending champions during the 2021 NFL season. After all, Brady will be in the final year of a two-year, $50 million contract signed ahead of the 2020 season.

What’s more, Bucs general manager Jason Licht just said this week that an extension for Brady beyond the 2021 NFL season is a “possibility.”

So, the fact that Brady is encouraging a Tampa teammate to save some room for more championship-inspired ink makes sense. Given how Brady thoroughly enjoyed the Bucs’ Super Bowl parade festivities earlier this month, it’s clear he’d relish another chance to celebrate in the same manner in February 2022.
