Two Former Bills WRs Set to Be Inducted Into Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame

A pair of former Buffalo Bills receivers are set to be forever enshrined in Western New York sports history.

All-time great Bills receivers Eric Moulds and Bob Chandler will be inducted into the Great Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame, the organization announced. The 12-member class will be introduced on Wednesday, June 14 before being officially inducted later this fall. A date is still TBD for the induction.

Despite only playing the eighth-most games (154) among all receivers in franchise history, Moulds, a three-time Pro Bowler, finished his Bills career with the second-most catches (675), receiving yards (9,096) and receiving touchdowns (48) in franchise history.

Incredibly, Moulds has a runaway, franchise-leading 1,187 targets in his Bills career. All-time great Buffalo receiver Andre Reed, who is the only one ahead of Moulds in the other major receiving categories, finished his Bills career at a distant second behind Moulds in total targets with 791.

As for Chandler, he played nine of his 12 seasons in Buffalo, earning two second-team All-Pro selections. He won Super Bowl XV in 1980 as a member of the Oakland Raiders.

Chandler passed away in 1995, but remains one of the best receivers in Bills history. He still ranks 10th in franchise history in catches (295), ninth in receiving yards (3,999) and fifth in receiving touchdowns (34).
