Von Miller taking COVID-19 diagnosis very seriously

Denver Broncos star Von Miller tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday, and took the time to speak with the media on Friday morning.

Miller said he left his home just four times in the last four weeks to pick up groceries and that he never left the car during those times, according to 9News Mike Klis.

"It all started with just a simple cough, and then it got worse. I also have asthma," Miller noted in his interview.

The 31-year-old decided to make his diagnosis public in order to draw attention to the fact that anybody can contract the virus, even if they're taking all the right precautions.

Miller is the first member of the Broncos organization to test positive and the second active player to be diagnosed with the virus. Los Angeles Rams center Brian Allen has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Last season with Denver, Miller recorded eight sacks and 33 solo tackles but unfortunately the Broncos went a measly 7-9 in the AFC West.

At this point there is no word on whether or not the NFL season will begin on time as this is a very fluid situation.
