The ink was barely dry on Jameis Winston 's signed contract with the Browns, but the nine-year veteran wasted no time getting some work in at the team facility.
Wednesday was a busy day for Winston after putting pen to paper on his one-year, $4 million deal, holding his introductory press conference and making the rounds on local sports talk radio. That didn't stop him from also trying to take a few snaps from backup center Luke Wypler, winter coat and all.
The moment was captured on video and shared via social media.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN THIS WORLD TOPS BEING AROUND PEOPLE WHO "LOVEEEEEEE" THE GAME! I PRAY DAILY THAT GOD SENDS ME PEOPLE LIKE JAMEIS WHO REALLY ARE GRATEFUL WITH THEIR ACTIONS, AND NOT WITH THIER MOUTH!!! HE IS TRULY ABOUT THIS LIFE....WOW!!!#MDFNATION@antonorwins @Browns pic.twitter.com/m4QFM5bCqx

Winston may be new to Cleveland, but he sure wasted no time endearing himself to the Browns faithful. All that's missing was a helmet and shoulder pads.
What should also help him win over Browns fans is his charismatic personality. The 30-year-old has been known to think outside the box when delivering motivational speeches to his teammates.
And while Winston has made it known that he hopes to earn a starting job again someday, he shared that a deeper purpose compelled him to sign with Cleveland. That deeper purpose centers around starting QB Deshaun Watson.
Other than helping the team win a championship, Winston expressed his desire to provide nothing but resounding support for Watson.
"I’m so excited to work with this young man," Winston began, "and help him be what he is capable of being, and that’s being one of the best quarterbacks in this league.”
The ex-Saints and Buccaneers QB understands his role with the Browns and is already attacking it before offseason workouts even commence.
