Watch: Khalil Mack spins past two Ravens, forces Lamar Jackson fumble

When offensive coordinators are game-planning for the Los Angeles Chargers defense, edge-rusher Khalil Mack is typically one of their top priorities.

Baltimore Ravens OC Todd Monken and quarterback Lamar Jackson likely made Mack a focus of theirs for their “Sunday Night Football” matchup this week, but the five-time All-Pro still found ways to get to Jackson.

On a third-and-6 from the Chargers 43-yard line with 16 seconds remaining before halftime, Mack showed why he’s one of the more feared pass-rushers in the NFL, blowing past Ravens tackle Morgan Moses and running back Justice Hill with a fierce spin move before forcing a strip-sack of Jackson that forced a subsequent fourth-and-long.

It was the second sack of the first half for Mack, who added six tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass defensed. It’s the second straight game Mack had two or more sacks, which he’s done four times this season, including three times in his last four contests.

Mack’s 13 sacks this fall are the second-most he’s had in a single season, trailing only the 15 he posted in 2015 with the Las Vegas Raiders. It gives him the second-most sacks in the NFL since his rookie year in 2014, per StatMuse. Only Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald (108.5) has more.

Mack is now just 0.5 sacks behind Pittsburgh’s T.J. Watt – who also had two sacks on Sunday – for the league lead (13.5).
