Hip-hop icon Lil Wayne took time away from being the hype man for the Deion Sanders-led Colorado Buffaloes to do the same for his beloved Green Bay Packers ahead of their massive "Thursday Night Football" matchup with NFC North rival the Detroit Lions.

Despite being a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, the rapper has been a Packers fan since Super Bowl XXXI after his father, who attended the game, returned home with plenty of Green Bay memorabilia, like towels, cups and the like.

No word yet if Lil Wayne will make it to Boulder for Colorado's contest against the undefeated USC Trojans on Saturday, but ESPN's Skip Bayless sure hopes so.
My man Lil Wayne is EVERYWHERE. At Lambeau, he just led the Packers out for kickoff. Hoping he can make it to Boulder by tomorrow morning to join us live on Undisputed. We here!
