Watch: Lions center Frank Ragnow reveals classy gesture by fans

Lions center Frank Ragnow was rewarded for his gritty performance in the NFC divisional round with a classy gesture by fans.

On Wednesday, Detroit's first-round pick (20th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft shared that his "Frank Ragnow's Rags Remembered Foundation" received over $20,000 in donations following Sunday's game.

"It speaks to how great this community is and how supportive these fans are," said Ragnow.

A three-time Pro Bowler, including this season, Ragnow persevered through multiple injuries against the Buccaneers in Detroit's 31-23 win to send the Lions to the NFC Championship Game for only the second time in franchise history.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the sixth-year center sustained sprains to his knee and ankle during the game. However, he still managed to play 73 snaps. Per data from Pro Football Focus, he only allowed two total pressures in 46 pass-rush opportunities.

Here's a clip from Sunday's game where quarterback Jared Goff rolled over Ragnow's lower leg as he was sacked, followed by Ragnow playing a crucial role in Detroit's fourth-and-goal touchdown run from the 1-yard line with a block on Bucs defensive tackle Vita Vea.

While speaking with reporters, Ragnow shared a positive update about his recovery.

Per FrankRagnow.org, his foundation "was inspired by Frank's drive to honor and remember his late father, Jon Ragnow ("Rags"), who passed away unexpectedly in 2016," and aims "to foster a love of the outdoors in children and their families by sharing the power of the outdoors to heal and bond families together."
