During Tuesday’s joint practice between the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders, several brawls broke out — highlighted by Ravens tight end Mark Andrews body-slamming Commanders defensive back Danny Johnson.

On a separate play, Commanders rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes took a few swipes at Ravens receiver Tylan Wallace after the whistle during 7-on-7 drills. Wallace responded by pushing Forbes in the face before exchanging shoves with safeties Kamren Curl and Darrick Forrest and inciting a multi-player brawl.
Fellow Ravens receiver Devin Duvernay came to the defense of his teammate, flying into frame, grabbing Forbes and flinging him to the ground. Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy rushed onto the field, yelling at his players to keep their composure.

“I think tempers were running wild,” Washington DE Efe Obada told reporters after practice. “People don’t know how to keep it professional. … Ultimately, we’re here to get better. Do we want to play football or do we want to fight?”
Tuesday’s skirmish isn’t the first fight to break out during joint training camp practices. Less than a week ago, Green Bay Packers offensive tackle Elgton Jenkins was involved in two separate brawls while scrimmaging the Cincinnati Bengals. He was removed from practice after taking a swing at Bengals defensive lineman D.J. Reader.
