Watch: Matthew Stafford gives five words of encouragement for Jared Goff after Rams-Lions game

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and Detroit Lions signal-caller Jared Goff shared a special postgame moment at midfield following the teams' wild-card matchup on Sunday.

Stafford, who was dealt from Detroit to Los Angeles in a trade for Goff and multiple draft picks in March 2021, was captured on NFL Films telling the Lions star to "go win it all buddy," meaning that he was rooting for him to lead his old team to a title in Super Bowl LVIII.

The Rams Pro Bowler's words echo his wife, Kelly Stafford's, message that she posted on social media Monday.

Not only did she confirm that her husband would return for the 2024 season, but she added "But until then, go get you one!!!" indicating that she was also pulling for Detroit to win their first Super Bowl.

The 2011 AP Comeback Player of the Year award winner spent the first 12 years of his career with the Lions and despite some stellar individual campaigns, he was only able to lead the franchise to the playoffs three times. Detroit went 0-3 in the postseason during Stafford's time under center and their victory on Sunday was their first in the tournament since 1991.
