Watch: Travis Kelce punches teammate at practice

Travis Kelce channeled his inner Draymond Green on Saturday.

After catching a touchdown from Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs linebacker Jack Cochrane (No. 43) tried to strip the ball away from Kelce's grasp, which the All-Pro tight end didn't appreciate.

Kelce punched Cochrane in the helmet and the two got in each other's faces for a brief moment before being separated.

Of course, training camp skirmishes are commonplace in the NFL. Imagine spending hours going against teammates in the summer heat and tensions not rising. Fights are going to happen.

And, truthfully, the Chiefs' tussle looks like a game of Pat-a-Cake compared to others in NFL history.

Following the team's Super Bowl LI win, New England's 2017 training camp got heated when receiver Julian Edelman and cornerback Stephon Gilmore were thrown out of practice after getting into a fight.

Last season, the Giants were involved in an intense training-camp brawl that featured too many players to count.

Kelce's punch isn't even the best fight of this year's training camp. The Jets made sure to put on a good show for "Hard Knocks" by getting in not one, but two fights during practice on Saturday, July 22.

When it comes to dust-ups between teammates, none in recent history are as infamous as Draymond Green's swing at Jordan Poole last year during NBA training camp. That punch derailed the Warriors' season, while Kelce's might only require an ice pack.

Because, in truth, the biggest takeaway from the tiff between Kelce and Cochrane is that NFL players still haven't learned how silly it is to punch someone wearing a helmet.
