Will Anderson and Laremy Tunsil Expected to Play for Texans vs. Colts
USA TODAY Sports

The Houston Texans are about to play for a spot in the playoffs on Saturday night, when they take on the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium for a shot at the Wild Card round.

And now, according to reports from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, they will be getting some reinforcements, with Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil and rookie standout edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. both set to take the field tonight in Indianapolis.

Both Tunsil and Anderson were listed on the latest team injury report as questionable with groin and ankle injuries, respectively.

Anderson missed two consecutive games after sustaining his ankle injury during the Texans' Week 14 loss to the New York Jets on Dec. 10.

"That was the hardest," Anderson said. "I am the type when I am watching the game of my team, I get so anxious. I want to be out there. I want to be out there. It was very hard to watch those games. But it was all about learning how to be a pro."

Amid his return, Anderson played a major role in helping Houston take a 26-3 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

He was on a limited snap count. But despite the management, Anderson had one of his most impactful games of the season. He had a handful of pressures, which led to a pair of sacks for the former Alabama prospect.

Tunsil, meanwhile, having just recovered from a knee issue that had been bothering him for an extended period of time, injured his groin vs. the Titans and was knocked out of the game.

There is still no word from the Texans on the game statuses of Andrew Beck, Maliek Collins, Sheldon Rankins, or Robert Woods - all of whom were listed as questionable in the final injury report of the week.
