The St. Louis Blues announced on Wednesday they have signed forward Adam Gaudette to a one-year, two-way contract extension for $775,000 NHL, $400,000 AHL.

The 26-year-old was acquired by the Blues in the trade that sent Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari to the Toronto Maple Leafs on February 17.

Gaudette, posted 51 points (27 goals, 24 assists) in 65 AHL games, including 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 25 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds. 

Overall, the Braintree, Massachusetts, native has posted 70 points (27 goals, 43 assists) over 218 NHL games, and 63 points (33 goals, 30 assists) in 81 regular-season AHL games.
