Enforcers Week Around the League

The most recent and arguably most popular enforcer in Nashville has been Mark Borowiecki. The 34-year-old Ottawa native shared his experience as one of the most physical players in the NHL. Borowiecki revealed the one decision that changed his on ice fighting strategy and what went into his decision to retire after last season.  Boro talked about what he would like to pass on to the younger players in Nashville as he begins his new role as a Pro Development Coach for the Predators.

There were other players familiar to Predators' fans who garnered discussion during Enforcers Week. Former Predator Mathieu Olivier played 48 games for Nashville and is playing his physical game with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Another former Predator continued to give Columbus trouble after he left Nashville and joined the Detroit Red Wings. Jordin Tootoo loved to drop the gloves against the Blue Jackets, and that franchise hasn't forgotten.
