Now they have claimed Jaret Anderson-Dolan off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings. The one hurdle now is the roster after these go through they will be at 24 played and they cannot exceed 23 until 12:00 PM EST. Any team can exceed on trade deadline day and afterward, so with that the Predators may not be done making moves as of yet.

Anderson-Dolan was drafted by the Kings in the second round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He made his debut on October 7, 2018, and recorded his first point in his next game against the Montreal Canadiens on an assist; he didn’t score his first goal until February 7, 2021, against the Vegas Golden Knights. He has spent six seasons with the Kings playing in 126 games and has only recorded 28 points on 15 goals and 13 assists. With the Kings AHL affiliate the Ontario Reign he has played in 115 games and has 79 points on 34 goals and 45 assists. This season in Ontario he has played in three games and has two points on two goals.

Wrap Up

It’ll be interesting to see what comes next for the Predators. Is there a player coming off the roster or will they be sending someone down? Right now the main focus for the Predators is continuing their push in the Stanley Cup playoffs and that comes tonight against the Buffalo Sabres in a game that two points can go a long way for Smashville.
