NHL best bets: +203 point parlay before hockey heads on break

Last night was truly terrible on the ice, with a total of three goals scored in the two games, and a goose egg from our two target offenses. It's a bit shocking, and all we can really do is laugh. It's also an important reminder that the NHL is heading on its All-Star break after tonight's slate, and many teams and players might be looking ahead to their vacation more than the action on the ice.

With that established, we're running just one play today and then getting out of Dodge. We have to touch a bit, but please do not go overboard with your bets.

A poke around the board has led me to the Detroit and Nashville offenses as two I think can find some scoring this evening.

The Red Wings host a Senators squad allowing 4.0 goals per game on the road over the past month, and Detroit has sported some solid offense of late.

Lucas Raymond is on Detroit's top line and rolling, piling up seven points across his last four games. Here's hoping that production can stay here for one more night. It's been three days since the Red Wings last played, which gave me pause. I did a quick look, and Raymond has been pretty steady on home ice off three days of rest, recording a point in six of eight such scenarios.

Roman Josi and the Nashville Predators will play at home against a reeling Los Angeles Kings team. The Kings have lost a shocking 14 of 16, allowing 3+ goals in all but three of these games.

Nashville hasn't really been a world-beater by any means, but Josi has been steady, recording 13 points in his past 10 games. For good measure, he has eight points in his last seven games against Los Angeles.

That's that. Just two guys to get a point and then we take a brief hiatus together. Let's head into the break with some green!
