Things To Watch For

Robby Fabbri, who suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday’s win over Washington, isn’t expected to miss much time, but it’s likely he won’t play tonight. …

Chicago’s’ top draft pick, Connor Bedard, will be in the lineup for the Blackhawks. He’ll be skating with former Red Wing Andreas Athanasiou. Bedard had two assists in the team’s preseason opener against St. Louis. …

Elmer Soderholm will get another chance t0 show a physical presence for the Red Wings. They want him to leverage his 6-8 frame a little more if he wants to stck with the Wings. …

Tonight’s game is the second game of a back-to-back for both teams. as the Blackhawks lost at Minnesota 3-2 on Wednesday. It marks the halfway point for the Red Wings through their preseason schedule. They’ll travel to Chicago to play the Blackhawks on Tuesday.
