The discourse around Flyers’ Cutter Gauthier makes no sense

For whatever reason, Philadelphia Flyers prospect Cutter Gauthier seems to have gotten the vote of no confidence from certain factions of fans over the last few weeks. My suggestion? Do your homework first.

The latest discourse around Gauthier is whether or not his shot is actually ‘elite’, claims that he’s a one-dimensional player, and ideas that he’s not a player the Flyers can build around. That’s why they drafted Matvei Michkov, but before I even start to debunk these claims, here’s a news flash: the Flyers have 11 other forwards, six defensemen, and two goalies that are a part of the team as well. Hockey is very much a team game, and anything that suggests otherwise is blatantly false.
