Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson says Michael Olise and Matheus Franca are some weeks away from a playing return.
The attacking pair are currently injured.
Hodgson said, Neither [will be available] in the next period of time. I can't seriously imagine them being available before the international break and that would give us another couple of weeks.
But even then, Olise's was a very serious one which he did with France, and we have to be careful we don't have a situation which probably might have happened with Wilf [Zaha] when he went to Turkey, because it was a similar injury where playing a bit early provoked another injury in the same area, which kept Wilf out I think for three or four weeks after he made his debut.
We have to be careful with that. They are both making progress, but we are following the constraints of the medical department and the physios, because I don't want to insist that a player comes back early and then I am responsible if something happens again and we lose him for two months."
