Darmian insists he wants to stay with Inter Milan 'as long as possible'

Matteo Darmian says he wants to stay with Inter Milan.

The Inter fullback comes off contract in June, but his deal carries an option to extend.

He said: "Having the trust of the environment, the fans, the staff and the club is nice and helps you a lot. What I hope is to stay here for as long as possible."

On his squad role this season, Darmian also says: "It doesn't bother me. I feel good, but this also happens thanks to my teammates and staff who put me in the best conditions.

"For my part, there is the desire to improve every day when I go to the pitch and to give my contribution to the team when I am called upon."
