Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba’s son, Isaac, has signed his first professional football contract for Italian Serie D side Folgore Caratese, according to The Sun.

The 20-year-old is a striker, just like his father, and he is taking his first steps into senior football in the Italian fourth-tier with Folgore Caratese.

Young Drogba has made the move to Italy from French side Guingamp who Drogba senior also played with between 2002 and 2003.

Isaac played for Guingamp’s Under-19 team and was a member of their B squads, before making his move into the senior professional game.

The young striker will be hoping to make an impact early on as he hopes to build a career like his Dad who earned a big money move to Chelsea.

Drogba spent 11 years at Stamford Bridge scoring 164 goals, winning four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups and the Champions League in 2012.
