DONE DEAL? Athletic Bilbao signing Real Sociedad striker Ekain Azkune

Athletic Bilbao are signing Real Sociedad striker Ekain Azkune.

Akune, who plays for La Real's B team, Sanse, will sign for Athletic when his deal expires this summer.

For the second consecutive season Akune is Sanse's leading goalscorer. He has ten goals so far this term.

The 23 year-old had his deal renewed for one more year last summer.

But although he was part of the club's plans, his age prevented him from moving up and down to the first team. However, he is now being allowed to come off contract, says Noticias de Gipuzkoa.
