AC Milan clinched one point at Juventus last night and thus cemented their spot in the top two, with five points still separating the sides. However, the performance was far from great and this had fueled the managerial rumours.

Giorgio Furlani spoke to the media after the game and was asked about the rumours, stating that ‘enough is enough’ as the players want to focus on the last games of the season. Yet, the newspapers brought up the matter this morning again.

Below are the front pages of the Italian newspapers this morning, with Gazzetta dello Sport once again pushing the Lopetegui links. The other two, meanwhile, focused on the game.

The headlines

Gazzetta dello Sport

“Lopetegui: the contract is on the table. The agreement is ready at €4m per year for three years.”

“Milan continue to work on the post-Pioli era. If Lopetegui were to fade, the alternatives are De Zerbi and Fonseca.”

Tuttosport

“That’s enough! Terrible, boring and pointless. Allegri and Pioli, it’s time for a change.”

“The game only served to confirm the end of the managerial cycles at Juve and Milan.”

Corriere dello Sport

“Lots of Juventus. Playing and creating but Sportiello denies the win.”

“Allegri dominates, Pioli resists.” Click to view slideshow.
