Juventus Formally Confirm the Signing of Tiago Djaló

Juventus have completes their first and perhaps only January purchase, as Tiago Djaló arrived in Turin on Sunday night and took the medicals on Monday, as the club confirmed through his social channels. He has signed a two-year contract with a club option for two more, TuttoSport informs.

The Bianconeri had to delay the deal due to issues with their liquidity index. They complied by selling Filippo Ranocchia to Palermo for €4M. They’ll pay €3.5M plus potentially equivalent add-ons and ten percent of a future sale to Lille. The French club put pressure on the defender to transfer in the winter rather than leave for free in the summer.
