After missing out on Emil Audero, Lazio have started to consider moves for Frederic Ronnow and Andrea Consigli.

The Biancocelesti want to pick up a new second-choice goalkeeper this month to replace Luis Maximiano, who is on the verge of leaving Rome to head to Almeria on a loan deal with a €9m obligation to buy clause attached.

Lazio had long been interested in a move for Audero but their lack of work allowed Inter to emerge, and they are now working to close out a deal for the Sampdoria shot stopper.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are now thinking about making a move for either Union Berlin’s Ronnow or Sassuolo’s Consigli this month.

The former has entered the last year of his contract with Union and has an estimated market value of around €5-6 million. It’s a similar situation for the latter, although he would be far cheaper at around €1-2m, and his experience in Italy could help make the difference.
