Report: Manager losing patience with overweight Tottenham player
IPA

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele joined the Turkish outfit Galatasaray on loan at the start of the season.

The 26-year-old was expected to establish himself as a key player for the Turkish club and get his career back on track with regular football.

Instead, he has had just 123 minutes of action at his new club so far. As per Fotospor, the midfielder arrived at the club overweight and the club doctors have not been able to resolve his situation yet.

The French midfielder was reportedly 6 kgs overweight when he joined the club and Galatasaray have been able to reduce his weight by just 2 kgs. In addition to that, his body fat percentage has remained almost the same and the midfielder is still struggling with his fitness issues.

The report further states that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk is already losing patience with the player and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds.

Ndombele was expected to develop into a world-class midfielder when he joined Tottenham but his career has gone downhill ever since. He struggled to establish himself as a key player for the north London club under multiple managers and he has been loaned out to clubs like Napoli and Galatasaray so that he can get his career back on track.

The midfielder is clearly a prodigious talent but he will need to sort out his discipline and mentality issues if he wants to achieve his potential and play for a top club in the near future.
