REVEALED: Nottingham Forest made contact with Sarri this month

Nottingham Forest made contact with Maurizio Sarri this month.

That's according to transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla, who is reporting Forest made their move after Sarri resigned from Lazio.

Sarri chose to leave his position at Lazio on March 13.

Just two days later, Forest contacted Sarri about replacing current manager Nuno immediately.

However, former Chelsea boss Sarri chose to decline as he has other plans. In addition, he does not want to rush a decision about his future.
