With just four games left of the season, AC Milan are planning for the summer transfer window and a few big signings are expected. However, as a report claims, there could also be a big departure this summer.

The 2023-24 campaign is coming to an end and after crashing out of every cup tournament, Milan will part ways with Stefano Pioli. In addition to a new manager, the Rossoneri are also expected to bring in a new striker and a few signings, with Olivier Giroud confirmed for LAFC.

According to Corriere della Sera, there could also be a big movement on the exit front, similar to what we saw with Sandro Tonali last summer. The €70m gained from that sale financed the mercato and a Tonali-esque sale ‘cannot be ruled out’ even if high offers would be needed.

We are, of course, talking about Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao. All three are considered stars of the team and have price tags of around €100m, with the goalkeeper perhaps being the ‘least valuable’.

Marco Sportiello certainly showed yesterday that Milan can do well without Maignan, but Hernandez was also suspended and Leao was certainly not at his best. Point being, in the event of very high offers, the Rossoneri will evaluate selling one of them.
