Watch: Chelsea denied second clear penalty in dreadful ref show at Anfield

Chelsea are being really hard done by the refs here. They should have had a penalty after 6 minutes, and after getting back into the game and making it 3-2, we should have had another, this time for a clip of Christopher Nkunku’s boot.

It’s very very soft – but so was the one given to Liverpool in the same spot at the end of the first half.

It’s all rather moot now anyway – it wasn’t given, and Liverpool have since scored a fourth goal.

But if we’d been given the chance to be 1-0 up or at least 3-2 down in this game, things might have gone differently.
