Watch: Tottenham take the lead through a Murillo own goal

Tottenham Hotspur are off to a promising start against Nottingham Forest, taking the lead within 15 minutes thanks to an own goal from Forest defender Murillo.

The visitor’s defence was disorganized as Son Heung-min played a pass to Timo Werner, who raced down the left flank and delivered a low cross into the box.

Pape Sarr and Brennan Johnson were arriving for the ball, but centre-back Murillo got ahead of them and unfortunately redirected it into the back of his own net in an attempt to clear the ball.

The Lilywhites will aim to build on this dream start as the game goes on.
